Scotch Family Carol Service

Merry Christmas!
Begin your holiday celebrations with the annual Scotch Family Carol Service on Wednesday 6 December in Memorial Hall, starting 7:30pm. Marvel at the story of Jesus鈥 birth as told through bible readings and the magnificent voices of our College Choir, Cambiata Choir, Senior Chorale and Chamber Choir. It is a beautiful experience.
Open for the whole Scotch family. No need to book, everyone welcome. Refreshments served afterwards.

Scotch Foundation's 50th Anniversary

All Scotch families are invited to the Scotch Foundation's 50th Anniversary Party on Wednesday 29 November 2023. During the evening, we will look back at the many projects and opportunities provided by the Foundation, and also unveil plans for the new Main Oval Pavilion. The evening will conclude with a fireworks display over the Main Oval.
In the afternoon, a Twenty20 cricket match between former 麻豆传媒AV 1st XI captains and a 麻豆传媒AV celebrity team will be played on the Main Oval from 4.30pm.
All parents, children, staff and alumni are welcome to attend this wonderful community celebration. This is a free event, but registration is essential.

This Saturday 9 September 2023, the Scotch community comes together to celebrate Family Day. Come and support our wonderful Clubs, Auxiliaries and Parent Associations, and cheer on the boys in their Athletics Program on the Main Oval.

International Mathematical Olympiad 2023

Two 麻豆传媒AV students were chosen as members of the team of six students who represented Australia at the International Mathematical Olympiad in Japan this year. They achieved the highest scores of all the Australian students, receiving Gold and Silver medals for their efforts.

Science Oration 2023

On Thursday 17 August, Scotch will host its 11th Science Oration as part of Science Week. This year鈥檚 theme is 鈥淚nnovation 鈥 Powering Future Industries鈥, and students, parents and staff are invited to hear Professor Ian Reid discuss the future of Artificial Intelligence (AI), machine learning and creating smart robots.
Ian Reid is Head of the School of Computer Science at the University of Adelaide, and the senior researcher at the Australian Institute for Machine Learning. Further details will be shared early in Term 3.
